How to Reconstitute

  1. 1Gather all necessary materials: vial of lyophilized Thymosin Alpha-1, bacteriostatic water for injection (BWFI), sterile syringes, and alcohol wipes.
  2. 2Clean the rubber stopper of the Thymosin Alpha-1 vial and the BWFI vial with alcohol wipes.
  3. 3Draw the desired amount of BWFI into a sterile syringe. Common reconstitution ratios aim for 1 mg/mL or 2 mg/mL.
  4. 4Slowly inject the BWFI into the vial containing the lyophilized Thymosin Alpha-1, directing the stream against the side of the vial to minimize foaming.
  5. 5Gently swirl the vial to dissolve the peptide. Do not shake vigorously.
  6. 6Visually inspect the solution to ensure complete dissolution and absence of particulate matter. The solution should be clear and colorless.
